Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers features some of the day-to-day activities of the Stobart Group, the UK logistics company, with a particular focus on its Eddie Stobart road haulage division.
It is narrated by Ben Crowe.
The first episode broadcast on 24 September 2010 and was released on DVD in July 2011.
A second series was aired in 2011.
Ed Stobart and April Stobart, the children of Stobart Group Chief Operating Officer William Stobart, featured in Episode 7 of Series 2 of Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers, originally aired on 30 June 2011. Ed Stobart passed his HGV Class 2 driving licence through System Training, based opposite Carlisle Lake District Airport. April Stobart went along to the driving school to show her support on the day of his test.
Ed Stobart works part-time for the Stobart Group as a gardener. He is also a professional Rugby union player for the Sale Sharks and plays for the Stobart Group's Polo team. April Stobart is an Accounts Administrator in the Carlisle Office of the Stobart Biomass Products division of the Stobart Group.
